We believe that there is ONE LIVING and TRUE God - eternally existing in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Titus 3:4-6).
We believe that the Father created the heavens and the earth through the Son and that all things rightly belong to Him who created it, and it was for the Son that they were created (Col. 1:16).
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Chris, the only begotten Son of God who is co-eternal with the Father, yet entered our world born of the Virgin Mary. We believe He lived on earth a perfect and sinless life, and was anointed by the Holy Spirit, through whom He worked miracles and brought the truth to all that will listen. We believe He was falsely charged, crucified and willingly gave up His life for us. We believe He was placed into a tomb and on the third day rose from the dead .We believe He ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father (John 1: 1; Titus 2:13-14).
We believe that by His death on the cross, Jesus has paid the price of our sin and that those who repent, believe in what Jesus has done and make Him Lord of their lives, will be saved from the eternal judgement. This then would be their own consequence for their choices in life (John 3:1-16).
We believe that after Jesus ascended to Heaven, He gave the Holy Spirit to His church with power and wants us to exercise all the biblical gifts of the Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, points us to Jesus and changes our lives and character to make us want to be more like Jesus. (Acts 1: 8; John 16:8; 14:26; 3:6; 1 Cor. 12).
We believe that all of us as human beings are sinners by nature. We believe that if we continue in this state and never choose Jesus as our Saviour (which is God's plan for our rescue), we will receive the eternal condemnation that God has stated will be our punishment (Rom.3: 23; Eph. 2:3).
We believe that God in His great mercy not only wants to see us saved, but also wants us to know Him, have a relationship of love, wishes us to worship, praise and adore Him and His Son Jesus, and through the Holy Spirit, grow to become like Jesus.
(1 John 5:11-13).
We believe that Jesus has instituted the church as the family of believers, to worship and praise Him together, to love and care for each other, to love and care for the disadvantaged and to reach those who do not know God with the good news of the Gospel. We believe that all who know and love Jesus are members of the universal Church of God whatever their denomination - and the Windsor Vineyard is only part of the true Church in Windsor and worldwide (Eph.5: 23; 4:25; Gal. 3:28).
We believe that the Bible is the authoritative Word of God, and is the source of all our doctrine, conduct and practice (2 Tim. 3:16).
We believe in baptism by immersion as an outward sign of the death to self and the resurrection in Christ that occurs upon conversion (Luke 3:21, Matt 28:19).
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as necessary for all believers to receive power from God for service - and the continual filling of the Spirit to enable that to be continued (John 3: 6; 1:12; Acts 1:5; 2; 38,39; 1 Tim.4: 14; 2 Tim. 1:6).
We believe in the sacrament of the Lord's Supper (Communion) as a memorial service of His death on the cross and of giving Himself as a sacrifice for our sin (Acts 2:42,46; 1 Cor. 11:26; Matt 26:26-28).
We believe in the actual physical return of Christ, the blessing of all believers to eternal life and the judgement of all unbelievers into a second death (1 Thess. 4:16,17; Rev 20: 14,15).
