Our Vision
 

Our Vision and heart is to enable everyone that the Lord gives us to help establish a productive local church that is fulfilling its calling as a gathering, healing, and sending agency, and to help other churches do the same. We will endeavor to impact the city of Windsor with the Gospel -- the words and works of Jesus -- and to make the Vineyard of Windsor a center of resource and blessing to the body of Christ in our city and county.

Our Values

We Value God's Word. We seek to teach the Bible
in a simple, understandable, relevant way so that it can be applied to everyday life.

We Value Intimacy with God. We are hungry to know God's presence, hear His voice, and follow after Him.

We Value Christ Likeness. We desire to become a people who will not just hear, but also do, the words and works of Jesus. We desire Jesus' love, mercy, grace, truth, purity, power and integrity to shine through all we do.

We Value Being Spirit-led. We are a people who believe in, practice, and value the power of God. We seek to be responsive to the Holy Spirit in our daily life,and when we gather each Sunday for Celebration.

We Value Servant Leadership. We believe that leadership is a function, not a title. Leaders are people who are anxious to be led so that they can lead, anxious to be discipled so that they can disciple, anxious to be healed so that they can heal, and anxious to be taught so they can teach. We believe that Jesus has put significant leadership authority in the hands of the pastor and his associates. We also believe that we are to raise up leadership from those that gather with us.. We aim to exercise leadership with humility, selflessness, grace, care for one another with a sincere desire to build up one another.

We Value Training and Discipleship. We believe our job is to equip everyone that wants to be like Jesus. We see this as an on-going process of training and personal growth, enabling each of us to function in the local church and our community at large.

We Value Being a Sending Agent. We seek to impact our church, community, city and county through outreach, church planting, renewal and world-wide missions.

Our Purpose

To Gather and Win People to Christ. We seek to remove any and all stumbling blocks as we reach out to others under the power and direction of the Holy Spirit.

To Bring Wholeness and Care. We seek to help people get theirs lives together. As we receive God's acceptance, affirmation, and healing, we can convey God's love to those around us.

To Train and Equip People. We seek to train and equip people to accomplish the vision we believe Jesus gave us. We desire to train by the model Jesus used , a show and tell and then give those trained the chance to do it by themselves.Acts of kindness done in the name of Jesus, which we call Servant Evangelism is just one of those ways. We feel we all can do what Jesus, did not just the pastor.

Opportunities For Our People.

We want to give lots of opportunities for our people to show the love of God throughout the city of Windsor. We believe that one of the roles of the pastor is to train and equip people to do what Jesus did .Each Sunday we give opportunities for all who want to learn to pray more effectively, the time they need to do this. We also arrange opportunities to learn to be like Jesus in the community . We want to both to know the words of Jesus and to do the works of Jesus.
